Keeping it Simple
Sunset at Griffith park, with a view of west L...

I'm always impressed by how we as humans need to complicate things. For instance, recently someone put up a hooping event at a park that has VERY easy access; free parking; picnic tables and bar-b-ques already set up. Living where we do, we are easily gotten to by folk who live on the east and the westside of Los Angeles.

Someone asked why we don't choose another spot that's easier for the west side to get to so, Griffith Park was named. The last time I went to an event at GP, it was so crowded I couldn't even get into the drive without having to wait in line. I had no clue where the event was or where to park. (It's a HUGE park with multiple entries and exits.)

I asked, why complicate this? When events are held on the westside, no one checks to see if it's easy for us on the east side to get to and they also forget about the Inland Empire folk who probably wont make the treck out that far anyway.

So, I'm just venting. I see it so often. Let's make it difficult to get somewhere or do something because one person doesn't like the location or the time, etc. Well, is what it is. Probably going to end up at the original location anyway. Pretty sure that's where I'll be ~ unless they make it more convenient.

Seeya!
