2 C. almonds, dry
1 C. sunflower seeds, dry
1/2 tsp. sea salt
2 tsp. turmeric
1 C. water

Put almonds, sunflower seeds, salt and turmeric in a food processor and process into a powder. Add water and process until mixed well. It will have small chunks, rather than being completely creamy smooth. Use the recipes that follow or add your favorite ingredients like mushrooms, tomatoes, and onions to this pate base to make different "scrambles".

Garden, Spanish and Asian Scramble recipes can be found in this book:

Sorry, it took me so long to make this. Just made a batch now. I would have to say that it taste more of the devil egg mix especially if a splash of apple cider vinager to it and top it off on the bottom of button mushrooms. It would be a good dish for those who are trying to go vegan. This would have been helpful for me when I first became vegan. Would like to add something to it to make it more creamy like a tomatoe or an little bit of a advocado in there.
Thanks for posting the recipe!
